As some of you might know, Entertainment for the Braindead’s debut “Hypersomnia” was album of the week on Hertz 87,9 Campusradio Bielefeld. Well, guess what… “Hydrophobia” is going to be album of the week again. From next week on there will be a daily little feature on Julia and her lovely music. Check it out on Hertz 87,9.
And there is more radio stories to tell: Julia was live on air at Hertz a few weeks ago and performed some of her new songs. We were there too and it was great. Listen for yourself right here.

[The Wind Whistles - Gold Fever (Live @ Antje Oeklesund, Berlin, 26.08.08)]
Tom and Liza just left Germany and we spent the last couple of days with them in Berlin. We went out for lunch and dinner, grabbed some beer and wine and hung out at a really nice lake in the afternoon. It has been a great time and we cannot say how much we like these guys. They are awesome. Truly lovely people.
They will come back next year and until then they will be working on a new album. So, be sure to hear from them again.
The Video above was taken at their last gig in Germany at Antje Oeklesund in Berlin, on Tuesday 26th of August.
You should also check out their tourdiary on their myspace. There you get a pretty good impression of what it’s like to be on tour for more than half a year.

Here it is, our second release:
“Hydrophobia” by Entertainment for the Braindead, a young and very talented singer songwriter from Cologne, Germany.
“Hydrophobia” is a 10-track EP of fragile acoustic pop tunes, full of colourful sounds and melodies – ukulele, guitar and flute are ever-present instruments, just like Julias (Entertainment for the Braindead) wonderful voice and her unconventional percussion that consists of jars, cans, boxes, drawers and peppermills.
Intimate songs that are detailed snapshots of thoughts and feelings – sometimes filtered and reflected, sometimes pure and transparent. It’s about drowning and it’s beautiful!!!
