aaahh records relaunch survey

The charming Essential Existence Gallery in Leipzig, one of the places we had a gig while the Germany-tour with ne:o and Keyboard Rebel last year, will start his second Netaudio Night (german) this weekend. The place to dance and listen to five very great Broken Beats artists from Germany.
Besides: If you are not around Leipzig, or neither Germany, you can listen to the music via the webradio mottt.fm.

Recommended Release: My Bubba & Mi – How it’s done in Italy
My Bubba & Mi is a special female trio that reeled the people at Beep Beep Back Up The Truck. The three girls from Denmark, Sweden and Iceland created an intriguing mix of folk, expert finger picking and vocal harmonies that will melt away the biggest glacier. My Bubba & Mi are far more down-to-earth: “lullabies from the countryside”, is what the ladies call it.

The mastermind behind the Technobears is Ed Haskins, who was one of the winners for the Yoko Ono remix contest. Ed has been remixing for over ten years and it’s just recently that he started getting really good at it, he told us.
“The songs themselves were awesome to work with.”
The result of his work is a fabulous remix album that adds a wide range of electronic gear to Uniform Motions music and transforms it into something new. That’s how we like it! Thrilling!
