Get ready for the AAAHHchestra
In September 2011 we booked a house in Denmark and invited our artists to meet up and record some music together. The result of this week turned out great. We did not only have a great time… we also took home a collection of great songs that have been recorded during the week. Here are snippets of some of the songs that will make it on the compilation. The album will be released soon. There will also be a strictly limited handmade version available on CD. Stay tuned and let us know what you think.
The compilation will feature music by musicians from our acts Bryyn, Keyboard Rebel, Entertainment For The Braindead, Nicolas Falcon and ne:o (some of them are on solo explorations, some songs where recorded collectively).

Nicolas wants you
…to help him with his latest project: His new band with the catchy name Falcon and the Featherweights would like to record a debut album. They have written and rehearsed thirteen songs that need professional treatment. Sadly, professional producers and studios are not cheap. That is why your donation would be highly appreciated. Behind the scenes of aaahh
We usually meet online to organize all the necessary label work. But once in a while we manage to meet in person. Henning, Jochen and Christian met in Leipzig to work out some new ideas and plan new releases for the near future. Here are some behind the scene snippets of the latest aaahh records meeting. Workshop O.S.T.
Currently, we try to work on aaahh in far-flung Leipzig, Germany. This sort of work involves sitting around a kitchen table, talking, writing and listening to music. While figuring out the future of our little label project and how to take over the world, we compiled a fun compilation with old and new aaahh related songs. Some of them have been released elsewhere, some have been kept secret in the digital dungeons of the cyberwebs.

DIY CD Manufacturing
Did you know that there is a handmade CD version of Nicolas Falcons self titled debut album? Everyone who chooses a “Support Download” and gives 10 Euros or more, gets a handmade copy of the album shipped right to the door. In addition to that, you will receive a download link to a secret album with unreleased material for every donation.
This little video shows how we make the CDs. The artwork is printed on a high resolution cardboard, the surface of the CD is also color printed. Both come in a plastic sleeve with some aaahh records stickers.

Nicolas Falcon out now on aaahh011
Nicolas Falcon creates rough diamonds. His blend of lo-fi pop and classic singer/songwriter material is just the thing you’d want to be able to play yourself to impress your love interest. As Nicolas grew up in Miami, but chose to relocate to Milan, we seem to become a gathering place for US-emigrants to Europe. Pinkle was the first, now Nicolas is the second one. It is up to speculation how long the US of A are able to survive such a brain drain. In the meantime we recommend to listen to our fantastic 11th release, Nicolas Falcons self titled debut album.
